With yet another successful Open Night under our belt, the year ahead looks very promising for Durban’s dev community. Our Open Night last week drew a fairly eclectic crowd of with a large gathering of students in the audience.

These budding digital ninjas joined us at our head office for a night of beer, pizza and engagement with some of Durban’s hottest talent. With two of our own developers presenting on the night, we were also lucky enough to have an external guest speaker, Matt Cavanagh, enlighten all of us on what Windows 8 has to offer.

Our very own Jitesh Nunnan wowed the audience with his demo of the new iPad, allowing most of the audience to view it firsthand for the first time. Siveshnee Moonsamy followed him with a nostalgic journey through her career, inspiring many potential developers and assisting them in understanding both the requirements and benefits of being a Durban-based developer in this day and age.
